Students at Lenah Valley Primary School use digital technologies as a tool to support and enhance their learning. Our aim is to normalise and integrate technology use in our school. Students are encouraged to use technology for creative and purposeful use. Developing skills for the 21st century like problem-solving, computational and critical thinking are also a focus.
Students have access to computers in each classroom and progressively develop their expertise in using ICT (including cameras, video cameras, computers, scanners, voice recorders, interactive whiteboards and a wide range of software) in other curriculum areas. Students have access to education email and learn to use ICT responsibly, safely and ethically. In Years 4, 5 and 6 they can bring their own personal computing devices to school.
